The world has changed dramatically since the "great recession" struck in the fall of 2008. In 2006 credit was flowing and selling a fiberglass swimming pool was not hard at all. The most frequent sales questions at the time were how many of and how much was going to be spent on available options such as lighting, waterfalls, seperate spa, laminar fountains, automatic safety covers, automated controls and so on.
Most homeowners paid for their pools with home equity lines of credit and fiberglass pool sales were brisk but that has all changed........
Since that time we have had just as many possibly even more consumer inquiries indicating that the demand to purchase a fiberglass pool has not receeded but the financing vehicle has.
